Content is King
Our target audience is on the internet looking for information. Your goal should be to provide them with it. If you can warm up the visitor using content that they value and respect, then you can refer them as an expert or a friend making a recommendation instead of someone trying to make a hard sell. You need to pre-sell your traffic before they come to Lexington Law. By pre-selling the traffic they click over with an open-to-buy mindset. What's the best way to pre-sell your traffic? Sell yourself (i.e. your credibility) every step of the way.
We've found the most effective way to do this is to use a content website that is related someway to the financial industry. It might be focused around Credit Repair, Home Mortgages, Loans, Credit Cards, Interests Rates, Financial Tips, Investing, Car Loans, or any other topic that might attract our target audience. You can feature news, advice, articles related to Credit Repair or other Financial Topics, etc. You might want to consider having a blog or community forums to have fresh content and increase visitor loyalty.
We have recently updated our CJ creative library with valuable content related articles. Articles such as: "Can Bad Credit be deleted", "Can Credit Repair Companies be Trusted", "Credit Bureaus and Credit Reports", "How Bad Credit Affects You", "Legal Credit Repair Methods", "Repairing Credit Yourself", "The Fair Credit Reporting Act", "The Law is on your Side", "Understanding Your Credit Score", and "What is Credit Reporting". These will be a great starting point for you to provide relevant information that will help you come across as an expert. You can use these as they are, but we suggest re-working them to make them as unique as possible for your own use. You'll want to embed our text links within the content, rather then having banners cluttering up your valuable space on your site.
Now despite what you might think, you don't have to be a graphic designer or a millionaire to build an affective website, just resourceful. You can make a great content website for less then 100 dollars, and make that money up in no time. To help start you out here are some links to some great places to get started.
